Iowa-based graphic designer Stephi Flattery is interested in creating impactful experiences that not only engage her audience, but also impart valuable lessons in compassion and social equity. With a background in printmaking, illustration, and painting, she understands the power of an interdisciplinary approach in communication and the importance of embracing new and emerging technologies.
Artist’s Statement
Stephi uses design as a means to advocate for those whose voices often go unheard. She feels that through design, knowledge and compassion can be fostered in an approachable and fun manner. By creating immersive and enjoyable experiences, she aims to provide audiences with an opportunity to apply and test existing knowledge, learn new information, and challenge preconceived notions.
